Content 3a 2f 2forg Telegram Messenger Provider 2fmedia 2ftelegram 2ftelegram 2520files 2f 25d0 Like many others i felt the pitch and yaw control in msfs is way too twitchy. here is how i fixed – or at least worked around – it: 1. always remember to make a backup before you edit any file ; ). 2. the flight model is set to "modern". 3. the sensitivity in the controls settings is set to default 0. I've tried for some time to reduce the sensitivity of my yoke, but wow, my blackbird c10r is way too twitchy on pitch. any suggestions for making the pitch less twitchy by adjusting a parameter in the flight model.cfg or by some other means? no twitchy pitch in c414aw when i compare the two out of the box. thanks for your suggestions.

Handguards The pitts is designed to be aerobatic, but this does not mean it is twitchy; mere twitchiness would be a bad thing in an aeroplane designed to fly the fai aresti catalogue precisely. so what matters for an aeroplane of this type, is very stable flight with the controls at neutral, but the ability to depart quickly from that with control. If your rudders aren't twitchy on any other platform (xp11, p3d, dcs, etc), then you might just be flying an aircraft that has twitchy flight controls. if you find robert young's aircraft twitches, or the a32nx from fbw twitchy, or the dc 6 from pmdg twitchy, then i'd consider taking al's advice above me. I am not 100% set on the flight dynamics yet especially the ground ones feeling twitchy, almost as if the aircraft is slightly floating on takeoff roll rather than firmly on the ground. differs per aircraft though, just did a mission in the vl3 and felt completely unrealistic, the c172 felt much better. I concur the flight dynamics with default aircraft are improved. aircraft have weight and inertia. trimming is much better, less twitchy. no way to land anywhere now i've tried simulated force landings and you now have to choose a landing site very carefully! turbulence is great and seems to interact with the terrain trees better than 2020.

I also find the fenix very twitchy on the take off roll, especially if there is any kind of crosswind component. i think this is more an msfs issue although i find the inibuilds a310 pretty stable. best thing you can do is start a flight at any airport on the runway and select custom weather with something like a 10 15 knot crosswind and play. Twitchy controls twitchy controls. by planenut october 14, 2012 in hardware controllers: joysticks yokes. Just fyi guys some airplanes irl are touchy or in other words twitchy in pitch and power. first one comes to mind is bonanza v35. you literally make puny adjustment with yoke (especially during instrument flying) and "screw" "unscrew" rotation power adjustments with the throttle. yes you don't pull throttle back and force like in cessna 172!. It does feel an awful lot better if you enable the tiller option, but even if you don't, this is one aircraft where "twitchy" isn't the right word. i agree that the pedals are too sensitive, but even then, the feel isn't twitchy, there's still inertia behind the yaw. the rudder is simply more powerful than it ought to be.
