Creo View Parts Excluded From Section Are Not Sav Ptc Community I have an assembly with a section that has some parts excluded from the section under "sectioning" > "intersect with all" > "remove selected". i can save this as an annotation set, and the section even is displayed correctly in the thumbnail view. When creating a cross section within an assembly, in the "models" flyout you can choose what components will be included or excluded from the cross section, then you can include multiple cross sections within the drawing view.
Ptc Creo View Pletax We are using ‘creo parametric 7.0’. we have an assembly with the fastener 'fastener metric.prt'. since it is a standard component, it is controlled using the family table (refer;'creo family table '). i would like to exclude ‘fastener metric.prt’ from the section in both 3d and 2d. I am using creo 9 and on one of my drawings i have a section view that isn't showing up. the section shows fine in the model, but on the drawing, hatching appears on the view, but it is not cut. If parts are constrained to a part in an instance on which you are not working, then even if you choose to have those parts in the assembly, they will not appear since the parts to which they are constrained does not appear. Select exclude for the items you do not want to be sectioned (warning view doesn't really update until you complete the operation). once you get all the items excluded, select done to complete the operation, view will update. After you place your section view, right click on view, and pick properties, then you will have a menu to change the section line spacing, angle and to exclude it. To exclude features, click exclude and select the features from the model tree. 6. click done from the feat inc exc menu to complete the selection. was this helpful?.
