When the parcel arrives back it the depot, it could end up actually being returned to the sender with that status. even if the parcel is delivered tomorrow, the tracking records would still show it was supposedly refused and was to be returned to sender. the people at dpd would eventually catch on to this driver's behaviour if it's so brazen.

You can't even ask for the parcel to be delivered another day because they don't have that option, which i find ridiculous, especially after the good experiences with dpd delivery service and their delivery slot options. Dpd once took a parcel i'd ordered to the wrong block of flats in my road (the person that lived where they went refused delivery of it). instead of engaging their brains and realising they were at the wrong building they took it back to their depot. Indeed, in the dpd episodes, they kept using that ice cream van as a sort of visual bookmark. possibly to suggest quiet and pleasant surburbia but i thought, if i was that icky man i wouldn't want my van being repeatedly shown, like it was somehow linked to the crime.
