For windows users, start up windows in safe mode or disable (stop) the anydesk service via services.msc, delete the directories, then reenable the service. for linux users, temporarily remove anydesk from your init service manager (systemd or another), delete the directories, then add anydesk back as a service in your service init manager ;). Additionally, make sure to reinstall anydesk after fixing this if you installed it while they were not correct synced. if you installed while they were incorrect out of sync it will not resolve the issue until you reinstall. edit: 12 5 23 you may have to also delete the any desk folder in program data program files manually as well. That way i would be able to access my computer from any internet connected pc (which you need anyway to use anydesk) without downloading anything, which would be especially useful for stuff like public computers in universities, libraries, etc. which often are locked up to prevent people from (accidental or intentional) downloading and.
