Dte Insight For Pc How To Install On Windows Pc Mac Well i've had interrupt able service for years and this is the first time i've ever had a real problem with it. normally it's not out long enough to make a big difference in the comfort level of the home. i just talked to dte and there are green and red lights on the control unit. but the green only lights when they're testing it. Dte is responsible for the maintaining service wire, but not any tree or branch problem, from pole to splice at house. i had to beg the trimming crew cutting along the mains from pole to pole to cut a branch laying on my wire. this is a tree 2 neigbors away. then maybe a year later i see my line sparking and smoking from a branch rubbing on it.
Dte Insight App On Behance Dte provided first 150ft for free from pole service. neighbor just built and they ran a new pole fairly close to his home but put the last 100ft underground. call consumers and ask to speak to someone in new construction department. you are likely going to have to cover some portion of the cost. Installed a pool in my backyard 20 years ago. needed my neighbors dte power line slid over out of my yard and back onto their property so the line was greater than 15ft from my pools edge. the cost then was $800.00 but because the lines were not mine they did it at no cost to me. the lines slid 30ft, 15ft from each side of the fence line. good luck. I'm looking to run 100 amp service down to my pole barn, which is approximatly 200 feet from the 200 amp pannel in my house. i'm wondering what wire size style is the most cost effective way of doing this. burriable vs. non burriable ran in conduit? copper vs. aluminum? i've seen some wires. You can purchase them at the dte yard on wixom rd. just north of i96. they aren’t crazy expensive if i remember right however this was many years ago before covid and crazy pricing on lumber.i know when my dad bought some of them he wasn’t allowed to cut them shorter in their yard.
