With b660 series, you may install gcc, update the drivers and firmware. this is a unified software from gigabyte to control or monitor a variety of features (like rgb, pwm fans etc) and to monitor, keep the drivers updated etc. but after initial setup, ofcourse it's optional. personally, i would keep using gcc.
