Welcome to booklu, book recommendations website! this is an open source project that uses design patterns and best programming practices to create a dynamic and user friendly book recommendations engine. What is the book project?¶ currently, it's a book tracker. it lets users track books they would like to read, are currently reading, have read and did not finish (we call these 'shelves', and we also have user defined shelves). This document highlights the capstone project i completed at devmountain, titled “book tracking app.” this project was particularly meaningful to me because it demonstrated how the front end and back end of an application work together seamlessly. Myreads is a bookshelf app that allows us to add, select and categorize books that we have read, currently reading, or want to read. it's developed using react framework. "react router dom" and "prop types" libraries are used in this project.
