New Open Ubc Site Open Ubc Open ubc is a curated collection of resources for faculty and students to learn about the why, what and how of open education practices and what they mean to teaching and learning at ubc. it will evolve as our practices evolve on our campuses and beyond. The new open ubc site has launched today on aug 26, monday. there were three goals for the site relaunch.
New Open Ubc Site Open Ubc Open learning has to do with using and contributing to open content and resources that can be built on or re used in your own learning. it is also about connecting with communities and networks beyond ubc, by openly sharing your works in progress and building on the work of others. We acknowledge that ubc’s two main campuses are situated within the ancestral and unceded territory of the musqueam people, and in the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the syilx okanagan nation and their peoples. The ubc oer collection showcases ubc open educational resources (oer) in a searchable interface to support ubc faculty, as well as the general community in incorporating open educational resources and practices into their curriculum.
