Physics Labs Interactive Physics Simulations Made With Unity Unity3d Optics lab is intended for teachers and students of gcse and a level physics, allowing them to not only demonstrate optical systems, but make measurements, perform experiments and build their own optical systems. The physics labs are a series of apps for high school physics teachers and students made with unity: optics lab, mechanics lab and fields lab. they contain interactive physics simulations for use in the classroom, as an extra study aid or to help students explore physics independently.

Fields Lab Interactive Physics Simulations Community Showcases Unity Discussions The ophysics website is a collection of interactive physics simulations. it is a work in progress, and likely always will be. content will be added as time allows. If you are new to unity please proceed on this section. you can see on the repository, the asset folder, it contains all the project content that you will see inside your unity 3d editor or interface. There are quite a few physics simulations available already online, but i wanted to use unity in order to progress to 3d simulations and better graphical detail than these simulations normally aspire to (perhaps even vr someday). Through this virtual lab, students can engage with and explore various physics phenomena, freeing them from the need to share outdated physical equipment and enabling a more dynamic learning experience.

Mechanics lab is a series of interactive physics simulations designed for teachers and students in secondary education (particularly gcse and a level). currently it includes simulations of: vectors, friction ramp, simple harmonic motion, orbits, 1d and tutorials are available at: dpreid.github.io code space physics mechanicslab . Founded in 2002 by nobel laureate carl wieman, the phet interactive simulations project at the university of colorado boulder creates free interactive math and science simulations. One of the key features of physion is its ability to create a wide range of interactive physics simulations using simple drawing tools. this means that users can easily create objects by drawing shapes such as rectangles, circles, polygons, regular polygons, and more. Click on one of the physics simulations below you'll see them animating in real time, and be able to interact with them by dragging objects or changing parameters like gravity. there are several ways to reproduce a particular experimental setup. the easiest way is to click the "share" button.
