Rapsodo may ultimately deliver, but i had gotten to where i was hitting into the net and not even bothering to set up the mlm2. i know what direction the ball is heading when i strike it and have a good feel for my distances. Rapsodo replaced my unit, very pleasantly surprised as i was out of warranty. slow process, took about 2 months to get my new unit. customer service was very helpful, so at the end of the day i give rapsodo 5 stars. the mlm2pro finally seems to be where it should be, works well, connects well, and finally easy to use. club data is a major bonus. What i would like to know is does rapsodo normalize numbers based on the range ball selection? i ask because i am getting drastic differences in numbers with the two different ranges balls. when i do my speed training at the outdoor range, i am seeing swing speeds of 118 124mph with ball speeds in the mid 170s. (topping out at 180mph). David maxfield posted a video of what you get without the subscription. it was diabolical. i have a garmin g80 that is primarily a gps but also has launch monitor features and it offers about the same features as the rapsodo without the subscription. Rapsodo came in a few days ago and i finally had a chance to take it to the range. both attempts were a miserable fail. i used it last night at a lit range in an enclosed bay and it didn't want to register. the picture was a bit dark on my phone so i chalked it up to the lighting. when it did register, the readings were way off.
