Slides 0 Course Introduction Pdf Computing Information Technology Management Hi everyone, i and my son recently tried scanning a bunch of old 35mm slides on an epson v600, and were highly disappointed with the results. it claims a resolution up to 6400 x 9600, but for practical purposes (including using a silverfast usaf 1951 target resolution slide), i found it only capa. • wilson (just read a thread where it stated that when they started up business, they used colt and springfield frame and slide kits but are now onto their own slides frames as of 1992) i dont know sir, i know a gentleman that just got into a law suite about three years ago with mr. wilson the gentleman made slides for mr.
Welcome To This Course On Introduction To Computer Systems Pdf Instruction Set Computer When springfield armory was using imbel as their source partner, they used imbel's forged frames and slides. some of these were partially machined in brazil and sent to sa for final in house machining. some forgings were sent to sa for complete sa final machining, (usually sa higher end models). I have slides from 5 different processing facilities. on all of them, the numbered side is the "shiny" side and the side with the company info (when present) is the emulsion side. if held at the right angle, you can actually see the image relief on the emulsion side. Checking my notes, 41 pistols had replacement slides of which 34 had post 1945 mfg slides (most commonly cage code number 53397, fsn number 7790314, or, no visible stamp marks), 2 were 1938 1943 mfg replacement slides (marked us model 1911 a1 us army), and 5 were colt mfg commercial civilian slides (likely series 70 type). Specifically, i'm looking for a stainless government series 70 with a high undercut and preferably checkering. can't seem to find anything on gunbroker, gunsamerica, etc. slides are plentiful on ebay so i'm assuming there are corresponding frames somewhere.

According to scott meadows' book us military pistols 1920 1945 the ordnance department first began to experiment with hard slides in july 1944. colt, remington rand and ithaca each submitted 250 pistols that were assembled with hardened slides, and they also submitted an additional 250 pistols that had their slides austempered at springfield. At a later time when the government wanted to buy slides from various contractors, they came up with the cage code and drawing number for the slides. colt, in their usual way of getting away with doing things differently, didn't use the cage number; they put the drawing number on the lh side like everybody else but used their typical 'colt's. You would first have to know the ithaca and remington rand serial numbers and other distinguishing marks on the frame, because ithacas were also signed 'fja'. then you have to know the rr finishes for the various stages, the differences in the rr roll marks on the slides in different stages and be able to spot a refinished pistol. Each slide assembly is complete so swapping slides is simple. in the pic below the .45 assembly is above the frame while the 9mm assembly is below the frame. i hadn't yet fit the front sight at the time i took the picture.
