Solved Importing Pdf S Autodesk Community Upon deeper examination, i found that the importing exploding of the pdfs created several hundred png image files. apparently those were not necessary to my actual drawing so i detached them all. doing so reduced my overall file size from 7mb to 1mb. big difference, everything works fine once again. Attach the embedded image(s) from the pdf during import. type the pdfimport command. navigate to the pdf file, select it and click open. in the import pdf window, check raster images in the pdf data to import section. notes: not all pdf embedded images can be attached.
