I'm pretty unfamiliar with sheet sets and am trying to set up a title block (eventually a template) that will automate the title block information with the sheet set properties. i created a (title) block and inserted text fields that refer to the "current sheet set". I am trying to add a title block template to automatically extract metadata from drawing titleblocks. i am given the option for drawing name and number, but the option to add fields is not present. do i need to add these as metadata fields in the folder first?. When creating a new drawing with my title block all the attribute fields are empty in the beginning, first you need to run the "title block update" utility. where can you trigger this event for the user defined attributes.

For @societejustet' question, a few of the default title block attributes do already have some auto population "smarts", but they need to be named correctly so they are recognized. we are currently working on an in fusion titleblock editor where we will be able to expose more of these. I made a custom title block in autocad and was able to successfully import it into fusion. however, when i try populating these fields, the inputted information does not appear. solved!. When you insert a new title block you can fill in these details as part of the insert process without having to open the block editor. or you can double click on your title block to edit the attributes, or even just highlight the title block and look in the properties palette to change the values. Then we use the xref command and reference in the titleblock to each project. once you have your titleblock saved in a different file from your project (s), just open your project, type xref, located your titleblock, and you should be able to load from there.
