As so far i can tell, there are 3 conversion kits available: ciener, dpms and colt. ciener has sold more kits and thus has more complaints. but works well on mil spec m4's dpms is the closest to colts kit. i have one and no complaints. colts is the best but good luck in finding one (very few were offered in 1989). if u use high velocity (or p if available) .22 lr you will have less problems.
