This is new behavior, vortex was working well until cyberpunk update 2.21. something must have changed with the new game patch that vortex is interacting in some way to cause the corrupted inventory icons with *any* mod installed through it. Posted february 9, 2019 you cannot place the mod staging folder inside the game directory, people were doing that left and right, and messing up their games, so tannin had to update vortex so it wouldn't allow people to continue to make that mistake.
