Zenoss Service Dynamics Zenoss Thingiverse just needs to be put out of its misery. it's an ageing workhorse that everyone still uses but hates that they have to thangs is a decent site, and the guys behind it are committed to continuing to improve it. not only is it a good host in its own right, but it's also a decent site aggregator for thingiverse (and otehr sites). Currently i will take a model form thingiverse and upload it into maker world from my own profile and then download it form there which is a very long and tedious process but when i’m in bambu studio my thingiverse files don’t show as an option how can i change this?.
Zenoss Service Dynamics Zenoss Its because thingiverse is unmaintained by its current owners, entire sections of it randomly go missing, it is flooded with piss poor models and the search function barely works so finding the models that are actually worth looking at isn't easy. thingiverse is the myspace of 3d printing. it was first, but it wont last. It's a shame thingiverse is dying but i'm glad to see any alternatives. and to be clear to all, any large groups that are influential in the community may make a request for a pin. i'm trying to facilitate community engagement more like that when i'm not too busy. It seems thingiverse has disabled 1 click downloading of items listed. so the 90 file storage system i've found, that has 90 parts, it's now a 10 minute ordeal to download instead of 1 click for a zipped file. so has anyone got any recommendations to alternative sites like thingiverse?.
